Page Builder
Learn how to use the drag-and-drop editor to build and customize your page.
Opening the editor
The page builder is where all your content lives. To open it, go to Pages and click the Edit button on any page card. The editor has three main areas:
- Left sidebar — block types you can add to your page
- Canvas — your page content, drag to reorder
- Properties panel — appears on the right when you select a block
Adding blocks
Blocks are the building pieces of your page. You add them by dragging from the left sidebar onto the canvas, or by clicking a block type to append it at the bottom.
Blocks are grouped into five categories:
Essential (free)
- Link — a clickable button linking to any URL
- Text — a rich paragraph or heading
- Image — an uploaded photo or graphic
- Divider — a horizontal rule to separate sections
Embeds (Pro)
- GitHub Calendar — show your contribution graph
- YouTube — embed a video
- Gallery — a photo grid
- Twitter/X — embed a tweet
- TikTok — embed a video
- Instagram — embed a post
- Booking/Calendar — a Calendly or booking link
Monetize (free)
- Buy Me a Coffee — link to your BMC page
- Stripe / Tip — accept payments via Stripe
Content (free)
- Stats — highlight key numbers (e.g. "500K views")
- Testimonials — display quotes from clients or fans
- FAQ — collapsible questions and answers
Portfolio (free)
- Timeline / Experience — a career or project history
- Events — upcoming or past events with dates and locations
Editing a block
Click any block on the canvas to select it and open the Properties panel on the right. Each block type has its own fields:
- Link — title, URL, icon (optional)
- Text — body text, heading level
- Image — upload a file or paste a URL, alt text
- Stats — individual stat items with label and value
- Testimonials — quote, author name, author title
- FAQ — question and answer pairs
Changes in the Properties panel are applied immediately to the canvas preview.
Reordering blocks
Drag the handle (the grip icon on the left edge of each block) to move it up or down the page. Release it in the new position.
You can also use the keyboard: press Space to pick up a block, use the Up and Down arrow keys to move it, and press Space again to drop it.
Deleting a block
Click a block to select it, then click the delete icon (trash can) in the Properties panel or in the block's action bar.
Saving your changes
The builder auto-saves every time you make a change. You'll see a small "Saved" indicator in the toolbar confirming your work is stored.
Saving and publishing are separate actions. Auto-save keeps your draft up to date, but visitors only see changes after you click Publish.
